If you had a traffic accident and at least one of the vehicles involved was insured by ASC compulsory liability insurance, you must file a claim with us.
If you caused the accident and are insured by us, all you have to do is notify us of the accident, you do not need to visit us or make an appointment.
You must do the following:
- Notify the traffic accident to the Police within 48 hours.
- When filing your claim you must have the following information at hand:
- Complaint number
- Date of the accident
- Vehicle license
- License plate numbers for all the vehicles involved in the accident
- Begin your claim here at any moment and from any electronic device with Internet access. You may also call (787) 622-4242 or (787) 622-6272 for the hearing impaired.
- If you decide to file a claim over the Internet you must provide the data and information requested. Here you can also choose the date to complete your claim process at your preferred ASC Service Center. Find out how easy it is to do so here.
- If you choose to file a claim over the phone, an ASC representative will coordinate an appointment for you at your convenience at one of our Service Centers so you can complete the claim process.
- On the date of your appointment at the chosen Service Center, bring your car for inspection by an ASC representative.
- You may receive your check the very same day you visit the Service Center if you provide all the necessary information and the claim process can be completed.
